Wally Dallenbach has been named to drive the No. 50 Budweiser Chevrolet
for the rest of the season for Hendrick Motorsports. Wally was born on
May 23, 1963, in New Brunswick, N.J., and currently resides in
Mooresville, N.C. with his wife, Robin, their daughter, Kate, and two
sons, Jacob and Wyatt.
1997 review:
Team made 22 races but finished 30th or worse 16 times. In
fairness, year started with intention of running partial schedule. Races
were added as sponsor's behest, and with everything that was going on at
Team SABCO, equipment and personnel just weren't ready.
